Two women fight for love and careers, in a romance that takes to the stars…

Commander Ruby Peters career ambitions as an astronaut take her to incredible heights, flying three hundred miles above the Earth, aboard the International Space Station. Committed to her extraordinary mission, life on that little blue planet feels a bit irrelevant. That is until she meets Dr. Carter.

Dr. Daphne Carter’s exemplary two-decade tenure studying astronauts has come to an exciting climax, as she prepares to venture to space for the very first time. A woman of science, Daphne is all work and no play, but while collaborating alongside the beautiful and charming Ruby, she finds herself beginning to unravel.

The two can’t deny it. There’s chemistry between them, as hot as the ignited rocket engines on a space shuttle. As perfect as they may seem for one another, their secret romance brings back pieces of a past Daphne fought desperately to forget, and threatens the careers that she and Ruby have worked their entire lives for…

Who Are We

The Infinite Summer

For those of you who don't know, Morgan Lee Miller is a fellow lesbian fiction (lesfic) author who publishes with Bold Stroke Books. Her new book The Infinite Summer, is available on December 1st, 2021.

When I saw Morgan was publishing a novel about a woman completing a degree in aerospace at MIT, I jumped for joy. Ruby Peters, my astronaut main character in The Space Between, also got her aerospace engineering degree from MIT. It was fate!

So, I contacted Morgan about offering some free copies of her new book, and she graciously agreed to let me offer up some copies in a giveaway.

The blurb, buy links, and the giveaway entry form are below!

Remi Brenner will one day see the world. Literally. She’s one summer away from starting her degree in aerospace at MIT, but then her dad cuts off her college tuition until they repair their estranged relationship. Remi has no choice but to spend her summer with him and her annoyingly famous stepmom in resort town Gaslight Shores, South Carolina.

Harper Hebert wishes her life didn’t revolve around her family’s restaurant, a staple in Gaslight Shores for more than seven decades. When a new restaurant is opened by a famous chef and business begins to decline, Harper’s dreams of ever making it on her own are threatened.

The more Remi and Harper’s friendship blossoms into something deeper, the more Remi becomes tangled in the intense restaurant rivalry between her stepmom and the Hebert's. She knows she has to tell Harper, but the truth could scare away the only person who can capture her summer and her heart.

This is how you Lose the time war

Hi There! (Instagram Post) (7).png

Among the ashes of a dying world, an agent of the Commandment finds a letter. It reads: Burn before reading.

Thus begins an unlikely correspondence between two rival agents hellbent on securing the best possible future for their warring factions. Now, what began as a taunt, a battlefield boast, becomes something more. Something epic. Something romantic. Something that could change the past and the future.

Except the discovery of their bond would mean the death of each of them. There’s still a war going on, after all. And someone has to win. That’s how war works, right?

Cowritten by two beloved and award-winning sci-fi writers, This Is How You Lose the Time War is an epic love story spanning time and space.

In the year 2513, the only thing higher than the seas is what’s at stake for those who sail them.

Rose was born facing due north, with an inherent perception of cardinal points flowing through her veins. Her uncanny sense of direction earns her a coveted place among the Archipelago Fleet elite, but it also attracts the attention of Admiral Comita, who sends her on a secret mission deep into pirate territory. Accompanied by a ragtag crew of mercenaries and under the command of Miranda, a captain as bloodthirsty as she is alluring, Rose discovers the hard way that even the best sense of direction won’t be enough to keep her alive if she can’t learn to navigate something far more dangerous than the turbulent seas. Aboard the mercenary ship, Man o’ War, Rose learns quickly that trusting the wrong person can get you killed—and Miranda’s crew have no intention of making things easy for her—especially Miranda’s trusted first mate, Orca, who is as stubborn as she is brutal.

Thanks to fellow lesbian fiction author Anna Burke, I learned about a fabulous book in 2019 called This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. It has since become one of my favorite science fiction reads. For those of you who haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it... and because I love it so much, I'm giving away a few copies!

The blurb, buy links, and giveaway entry form are below! I also put buy links to my favorite Anna Burke book, Compass Rose (which also has a sequel, by the way), and her publisher, Bywater Books, because if not for her, I wouldn't have known about it!

If I were a Weapon

Skye Kilaen has been an awesome and supportive author friend of mine on Twitter for a while now. She writes queer contemporary and science fiction romance novels, that are usually geeky. Her newest release If I Were a Weapon: All These Gifts Book One, looks to be an exciting near-future sci-fi read that I am very much looking forward to! And I'm sure if you're a fellow sci-fi fan like me, the blurb will pique your interest, too!

Skye has graciously offered to gift a few copies of her new release, now available for pre-order on Amazon, as a part of this epic set of giveaways. I am super appreciative of her support, and hope you will give her a follow on Twitter! She is a quality human!

See the future. Set things on fire. Fall in love? A superpowered sci-fi romance.

When dying alien ships materialized across the Earth, their nanite cloud knocked Deneve Wilder out cold. She woke up with the ability to see the future. Determined to keep anyone from using her visions for evil, she took to the road. Giving up everything was a small price to pay for freedom.

The ship that hit Jolie Betancourt’s town gave her the power to set things on fire. It was safer to start over in a new city. Then one terrible mistake demonstrated far too clearly that for her, solitude is safer. For everyone.

So when Deneve shows up after a vision of Jolie being kidnapped, Jolie wants little to do with the frustratingly attractive drifter. Deneve’s surprised by how much she wants to thaw the pretty shopkeeper’s chilly attitude, but the idea of staying in one place sets off her alarm bells.

If they can’t evade whoever’s abducting people with powers, however, the growing connection they both feel in spite of themselves might be the least of their problems.

The first installment of a near-future science fiction F/F romance series with a guaranteed HEA at series end. Slow burn to high heat.

Storm Caywood is a fellow Twitter friend of mine and a newer author to me, but she's a Trekkie, so I mean, you can't go wrong. She publishes with Carnation Books. Plus, look at that adorable cover!

I'm gifting a few lucky winners copies of Storm's novella, which comes out on December 16th, 2021 on Amazon!

Just because I know I have a lot of readers out there, and it's just around the corner from the holiday's, I thought I'd give away a few $10 Amazon Gift Cards to help you pick up a new book!

While you can certainly use this toward anything you wish, I might make a suggestion to pursue one of my many independent author friends I've made on Twitter and through I Read Indies. is an impressive collaborative effort of authors across the women-loving-women (WLW) genre, made possible by author KC Luck. KC is a wonderful human, whose books I love and highly recommend, as well as many of the other indies on that site that I am privileged to call colleagues and friends.

Paperback Books

Recently, most of my novels underwent some much needed pampering on the cover design department. Three of my novels were done by the wonderful LJ from Mayhem Cover Creations, who I cannot speak enough good words about. She did the covers for The Space BetweenForbidden Melody, and While the Music Lasts.

I also dabble in cover design a bit, and while not nearly as talented as LJ, did come up with a few of the cover designs for my books myself.

Because my books have all been fabulously made over, I wanted to give away some copies of all of my paperbacks. There's just going to be one giant giveaway for this, where you could win any one of my paperbacks, including my new release!
